Answers, without opening a ticket.
The questions owners ask in the first week.
Getting started
From signing up to the first answered call.
How long does setup really take?
About five minutes. You tell the agent about your business, connect a calendar, and point a number at it. The setup guide walks through each step with the exact codes to dial.
What does the agent need to know about my business?
Your services and prices, your hours, your service area, and anything you get asked constantly. You can paste your website in and edit what it picks up.
Can I hear it before it takes a real call?
Yes, and you should. There is a test call button on the agent screen that rings your phone and answers as your business, so you hear exactly what a customer hears.
What happens during the free trial?
Everything works, on a real number, for fourteen days. No card is needed to start, and we ask before the first charge rather than after.
Numbers and forwarding
Keeping your number, or getting a new one.
Do I have to change the number on my van?
No. Most businesses forward instead of porting, so the published number stays exactly as it is and only the calls you miss ring through to us.
What is conditional forwarding?
It forwards a call only when you do not answer or your line is busy. You keep picking up when you can; the agent catches the rest.
Can I port my number to you instead?
Yes. Porting takes two to five business days, and we keep forwarding running until the port completes, so there is no gap.
What happens if your service goes down?
Calls fall back to your own number. Never dead air: a busy signal or silence is worse than a clumsy call.
Your agent
How it behaves, and what you control.
Will customers know it is AI?
It introduces itself as your front desk and never claims to be a specific person. It also does not pretend to be human if a caller asks directly.
How does it decide something is urgent?
You set the triggers: gas smells, flooding, no heat for a vulnerable occupant, or anyone asking for a person. Anything matching rings your on-call contact within seconds, day or night.
Can it quote prices?
It quotes exactly what you put in your services list, including ranges and call-out fees. If a job is not on that list, it takes the details and says an estimator will call.
What if it gets something wrong?
Every call has a full transcript and recording in your dashboard. Correct the knowledge base and the next call is right; the failure mode we care most about is a booking that only looks booked.
Billing and account
Plans, invoices and leaving.
What counts as an answered call?
A conversation the agent actually handles. Hang-ups inside ten seconds and recognised spam diallers are logged but never billed.
Can I change plan mid-month?
Yes, either way. Changes are prorated on your next invoice, and nothing about your number or agent changes.
How do I cancel?
One button in settings. Calls fall back to your own number immediately, and you can export every transcript and recording first.
Who can see my call recordings?
You and anyone you invite to your organisation. Recordings are encrypted at rest, deleted at the end of your retention window, and never used to train models.
